Le Scrabble a été conçu par l’architecte new-yorkais Alfred Mosher Butts (13 avril 1899 – 4 avril 1993). Contraint au chômage par la crise de 1929, il crée en 1931 une première version dénommée « Lexiko », dont le nom, trop proche d’un jeu existant appelé Lexicon, est successivement changé en « Alph », « It », « CrissCrossWords » et finalement « Scrabble ». Next tuesday we’re going to watch a short film clip from Ticket to Paradise with George Clooney and Julia Roberts. It’ll give us the chance to talk about aerophobia. Maybe you have some unusual flight experiences to share…..

In December we made a small Xmas pudding. I frooze it. I’ll take it out so that we can taste it together and compare it with the industrial one we ate in December.
